Sometimes I actually prepare to recall a favorite memory. Like preparing your self for the feature once the previews are over. As the memory enters my mind it injects a flash of realism--almost as if I'm living the moment. My nerves do there best to render the feeling to my soul but no matter how hard I try to retain it the feeling leaves the instant it arrives. Josh ritter's lyrics slow that moment down-- allowing just a bit extra time for my peripheral memory to come front and center.
