As a survivor of abuse I can tell you that when your dealing with it you are afraid to tell any one out of fear that they will blame you instead of the abuser for why it is happening, there is a lot of people in this world that are cruel an don't seem to understand as they are not in your shoes so you keep it bottled up on the inside thus "demons" hiding it from the ones you love. Afraid of rejection from others around us.
