This song is about the delusion of religion. It is about how people will stubbornly follow whatever leader is shown to them only to be lead to confusion. When the world ends due to natural purposes the religious people will still believe that they will be okay simply because they believe in a being that will save them all. They think that the asteroids or hurricanes or earthquakes are a rebirth and that they will all be cleansed when in reality, mother nature is just taking its course. This song is similar to "3005" in the way that Daron says he will watch the delusional people wait for a rebirth and a savior while he has already found a way to save himself and is just chilling on a spaceship.
