When I hear this song, this is what I think (and it could be totally off): A kid, maybe sixteen or seventeen, has issues at home-- probably between his parents. This in turn affects him, and he feels he has to do something to help. He tries to figure it out, maybe he even seeks help but comes back empty handed. The kid is talented, though, and figures the only way he can really help is to get a job and "become the dream", as in, put his talent to use. (In this case, "the dream" is being a singer, an idolized career.)

We all know this is by Panic! At The Disco xd I didn't know people freaked out so much over covered songs. I wouldn't call it cheating, more like taking something and making it their own. Atreyu sang "You Give Love A Bad Name" by Bon Jovi. Metallica sang "Die Die My Darling" by the Misfits. Smashing Pumpkins sang "Dancing In The Moonlight" by Thin Lizzy. A ton of bands have covered songs.

I think it's rather amusing how blunt this song is. It's obviously about how he's against religion and he's also making fun of it in a way. And for those of you who are wondering about the voice (the one at the begining, middle, and end of the song), it comes from the movie Constantine. The character John Constantine actually says the line "What if I told you that God and the devil made a wager, A kind of standing bet for the souls of all mankind?" Gabriel (sp?) says "Lucifer!" and Lucifer says "This world is mine..." As for the little thing at the start, I didn't hear it in the movie, but I did hear the voice saying it. Anyway, awesome song! And of course, awesome band:] I love Aiden.

This song is so adorable. I think it's about him liking a girl who appears as though she's not into him, and she probably isn't in this case. But it could also be that he's really into his girlfriend, and she wants some space 'cause he's too "addicted" to her. I played this on my guitar for my boyfriend the other day, and switched the lyrics a bit ("I'm in trouble, I'm an addict, I'm addicted to this boy; he's got my heart tied in a knot, and my stomach's a wind-up toy"). He thought it was cute. And really, the song is.
