Ok, I take back seeing his dead girlfriend in the "afterlife" -- he died and is going toward the "light" but realizes he doesn't want to die now because he is too young to die now and wants God to send him back to his life here on earth but realizes that the "afterlife" is a beautiful place and when it is his time to die he wants to go back there --

He "died" and went to the afterlife and saw his dead girlfriend who is holding her hand out for him to come to her but he realizes that he doesn't want to die at this time but hopes she is still there when it is time for him to die so he asks God at the end not to take him and send him back to his life on earth. For now.
