I think this song I about 2 groups of people but all 4 hate each other and when serj is saying blue skies watching it all, fading its about the 2 people that are doing good things & they are shining over everyone else in the land, but because those 2 people are actually doing good things no one will pay attention to them or realize them so they start to hate on each other more & more till the 2 suns are watching them both fight & the skies arent doing the right thing anymore but they are still never noticed, so the 2 suns start learning more bad ways from the skies and this is when darons part comes in, the suns start doing bad things & revealing them-selves to the world way just standing there & getting attention from everyone else, so then the two suns eventually start punching & killing eachother. So then when serj & daron start singing together I think is when all 4 of the people start to unleash choas on the earth, and live like we do today.

I think this song is about the amount of horrible things people do, how disturbing those things are & how those people that do those things will never know why their lives are so horrible & the actual meaning of life. At the end when serj is saying, "have you ever wanted to die, have you ever tried to fly... " he means that people do all the rediculous this to kill them-selves, and sometimes how 'mess up' they are when the try to kill them-selves. So in that part I think he's saying people are trying to kill them-selves by flying, or they don't even know sometimes that they, are not flying.
