I'm not quite sure on this, but I personally think this song is more about a relationship between two or more people, and not Greek mythology. I say this because while Superdrummer and vincevalfan's meanings make sense, there is just one part that doesn't; when he says "WE can't be wrong when WE have the ties that bind US." If he was indeed speaking of himself as Chiron, it wouldn't make sense for him to say "we" and "us". Plus, if you read the rest of the lyrics that All That Remains has written, a song about Greek mythology doesn't exactly fit in there.
