In my opinion this song is about a relly bad break up. She loved this guy and he promised he'd never hurt her. But was being unfaithful and obviously didn't care about it. So when she ended it, from what I think about the lyrics, he thought she wouldn't survive without him and she's come running back to him. But she didn't, which is the hardest thing to do when you love someone. It reminds me of my ex, he said I would be back with him in a week even though he split with me. He thought he could come and go, get his end away whenever he wanted but I said no and moved on. And now he is alone and no one wants him, and I am happy.
