I believe this song means that when all of a sudden your life turns upside down. You feel alone and that nobody is there to help you get you through your pain. Then, you finally realize that you shouldn't take life for granted. Life is a privalege so don't act like it doesn't matter what you do. You feel like you need to be saved and woken up from this nightmare and the only way you can do that is by faith and never say never.
