He finally found someone who can challenge him in a relationship to be the best person he can be. But he's beginning to act like a little boy. I want. I want. Me. Me. Me. Like we were in high school. He is infatuated. His insecurities have really started to show now that he has been drawn into her. He's got them and that means that their both as dead, blown apart by his grenade of insecurities. He finally found her, but he can't have what he wants. He's saying that there's no such thing as coincidence, they were meant to met up. Of all the circumstances that lead to their meeting, none was out of place. But he wasn't ready for her. He finally met his match. And he lost.
