I just lost my uncle several weeks ago, and it was right around the time this song came out. He was in the marines for a while but suffered from a buildup of fluid in his lungs. It really hit me hard, as well as this song. I cry every time I hear this, but I listen to it every day because it feels like my uncles song to me. It was even harder to loose him because I knew it was coming. I'm on my way bakc to feeling normal again, and I see his folded up flag ever time I come down the staires. So in a way I know how this girl is feeling. God bless all of those people whose family members are in the war in iraque right now, and god bless all of those families who have lost their famly to the wars. We all pay a price for keeping our country free.
