This pretty much describes the state of my marriage. The past almost 6 years (our anniversary is Oct 12) my husband has repeatedly not been there for me, not worked or wanted to help out or anything. He just let all the burdens fall on me and even when it was obvious I was starting to crack from the stress, he still wouldn't do anything even when I pleaded. Now that I told him that things are pretty much over he says he is going to change. This song is pretty much a song version of stuff he said to me. Too bad sometimes people wait until things are so damaged there's no going back to decide to change. I like the song though.
