I'm an American and I like this song. To me it means that most Americans follow the media and masses. Our last president took away some checks-and-balances all by saying "9-11" and people willingly bought it. I was considered unpatriotic by objecting. One of our founding fathers, Benjamin Franklin stated "Those who give up a little freedom for a little security deserve neither."
So this song reminds me of the 1960's where rock music was about standing up to authority when it is blatantly wrong.

I love this song, it sounds exactly like I sound. While bi-polar is a true disease, I think the song is describing people who cry out "it's not my fault I'm [insert label here]. Using it as a crutch. I've been through the wringer in ways that make people's jaws drop and I refuse to be beaten by anyone or anything.
So when people say, "I've got PTDS" or whatever, hey, we all have something most likely. Labels are a lame excuse. Take your medicine!
