Lol with Lyricsman. King of songs not every song is just random s*t they can think of. I mean it takes a couple of years, coe came out in 05 and their latest self-titled came out in 07. Not to mention they speak of why they wrote the song. I mean when I'm playing on my drum set I'm thinking. "Fuckin awesome Rev how do you do this...blah...blah..." or with the guitars like freakin awesome chorus. But when I sit and pay attention to the lyrics it all has a message. I'd like you to show me songs that don't have messages except some rap and hip hop s*t because they don't give a s*t of society, most only care for money, cars, jewelery, girls and showing girls in inappropriate ways like stripping, dancing, juking, and tell them how to shake something.

Gvgeri you can't really seem to trust wikipedia it is really an unrealiable source. As for what Knowledge of truth says, I can see all of what you said to the lyrics, but most of this is more translated from a biblical text, but it could also be translated to a modern text. What I also mean to say is that most of this information isn't really incorporated in the video, but the answer could be America wanted to censor what it really meant and make it seem different than waht it sounds like or the video producer had no clue on what to be doing on the video.

I believe it is about war and killing. By explaining that "hatred surrounds us" we all hate and it causes problems, such as when whites hated african americans they kill just because of their skin. And if you see movies such as Gladiator and Alexander and 300 most movies show that even in like 500 bc and way before that people went to war, and then being proud to lead its country, it turns around and backfires in a negative way. It shows that by going to war many leaders are blind and since they are leading this country we can't do anything so we don't know what is right and we are lost.

I must disagree with dear god because had they said they were taking brompton cocktail to face their fear it would be similar to what you suggested. But I must say xmegansevenfold got it on the dot. Just by some of the lyrics they choose it makes very much sense that we do have a choice if we are in pain, but the problem with that statement is people don't see he is taking about disease, some think its pain such as peer pressure, parents divorce, loss of family member etc. And some see that instead of enduring it they decide to commit suicide. But this song is very much taking about the diseases many people suffer.
