This song means so much to me because my dad used to sing it to my mom all the time! I love this song! It is about a young couple making young love in the old days, and now, reminiscing about how good the old times were when neither of them had a care in the world. They would run along happily not caring what they did, who saw them, or how silly it looked. They would sing a silly song just to signify how much fun it was to just be together. I love this song! Yea. As much as I would love to believe that its a heartwarming song about a playing "hard-to-get-unless-you-really-want-me" relationship, what moonlightvanilla said is right. Her publicist told her that her album was almost perfect, all she needed was a love song. So sara, being her funny/sarcastic self, wrote this. Think about her situation and the lyrics. It fits perfectly! "Im not gonna write you a love song cuz u asked for it!" really! She has a great sense of humor! ♥ you Sara!
