Most seafaring communities have a strong association to God in general and the Christian faith in particular as Celtic communities. The sea and weather is in the hands of god and consequently the safety of our men who dare to range these offtimes perilous quests in the simple pursuit of making a living. This is a shanty in the mode of a prayer for the safe deliverance of the brave souls who wander out into the deep dark ocean.
