I feel like this song talks about all the things in life that hold us down. Which sounds cliche but we all have these things in our past that we hold on to; things that hurt us, that keep ups scared to live. Sorrow is our Ocean, and with those things holding you down, your Anchors, you can't go anywhere. There's a rope holding you to every Anchor. And you never cut them, you just make the best of it until you want to fall into the Ocean and drown. But there are hands that want to reach in and pull you back out. And in my opinion those hands have holes.
