They were happy and had a good relationship, he messed up and she said she wouldnt leave him. She can't get over what happened so she shut down and he keeps telling her to leave but she wants to make it work. Trying to get through this period in their relationship is like "moving mountains". Its hard! Since she can't get over it, he just wants her to leave but becasue she decided to stay, he is stuck cause it was his fault, that's why he's angry. Its a sad song.
