I really love this song. I think, although Justin more than likely had an idea or story behind "After Tonight", it is open enough to interpretation to mean something different to everyone who reads it. Like with any good piece of art or music, the "audience" should feel like they're looking through a window into the artist thoughts and feelings. If the piece of art is really well done, the audience will also see a window into their own thoughts and feelings. Whatever. The best thing about art (and for me music in particular) is that it means such different things to different people. The "window business" is just a brief two sentences attempting to summarize what I feel about art (Haahaa. If that were at all possible.). The reason why I love this song so much is because it is my ideal romance spoken by what sounds like my ideal guy. I hear him saying "I see there is something else that you want. I see that you're wishing but after tonight you won't have to wish anymore." The stars bit means both "You won't have to stare up at the sky and hope for anything more because you will have everything you want with me." and "If you want to look at the stars, my love will bring them down to you." Oh, and I can't forget to mention how delicious Justin Nozuka is. Haahaa. His being so attractive helps in my whole "melting process". Tee-hee. This song is beautiful. I felt it. P. S.
