I beleive that the dream refers to the innocent of youth, when we unaware of the mechanisms of the world & men. Many of us are fortunate enought to grow up in safe, comfortable, & loving environments. We loss that innocence, freedom & carefree spirit of childhood as we become adults. We are more aware of the world and its' many evils and injustices. We have to work. We are forced to take on more responsibilities and are faced with greater levels of stress than we knew in childhood. Our childhoods; the past of being innocent, free and taken care of distant now, a fading dream.
