I'm not really good at explaining these thingd so I'm going to try to explane this as best as I can lil wayne is telling his problems to himself. When Bruno mars says "through my rise and fall you've been my only friend" he is talking to himself and he says "we" it so he can feel better. He thinks that people don't understand the problems that he is going through so he talks to himself while pretending it is ssomeone hat he is talkinv to. I listen to this song a lot because I can also relate to the things that lil wayne is saying in here.
