Ok so here's what I think. When she was younger her daddy probably cheated on her mom and she left him. Hence, "he broke his own heart and i watched as he tried to reassmeble it". So as a child she grew up believe that love didn't really exist, just something talked about and hoped for. But now she has found her only exception. I think that it's a new relationship. And they probably made love for the first time too. Hence, "I know you're leaving in the morning when you wake up.Leave me with some kind of proof that its not a dream.". I could be right. I could be wrong.
