This is a song about a war (obviously). The question is 'is it a real war, or is it a fictional war'. All of the scenarios in this song could be a real war. For some reason the lyrics remind me of WW1, because there was troops that were forced to advanced. The main thought comes to the german Stormtroopers, many of them were highly trained but received bad orders to just straight up advance such as the lyrics "The whistle blows, you are forced to advance into oncoming machine gun fire". This is just what it reminds me of and it doens't mean that is what the song is about, but it is obviously about a war. Warbringer tends to (seemingly) like ficftional wars as well such as the album cover of "War Without End". Is the art symbolic or literal? Who knows. What we do know is that this song is about a vast battlefield, it is put into the perspective of a single infantryman. He watches his fellow comrades fall dead, wondering when it's his time. As he receives orders to push forward he is stabbed with a bayonet and dies "Stabbed through the gut by a bayonet, blood chokes your scream Another dying soul is laid upon the altar of mankind's greed". I think the song is mostly interpreted as how many people die in a war, how insegnificant from far away it seems but when you zoom in it is tragic.

This is a song about propaganda being used to fuel hate. This is mostly noticed in cases like Adolf Hitler, along with other political leaders/countries or even religions. "Choice Control, behind Propaganda" is basically about people spreading propaganda (most likely leaders) and how they cherry pick information. Followed by that is "Poor Information, " To Manage Your Anger" suggesting that they do it purely to fuel hatred. "Years Of Fighting, teaching my son to believe in that man racist human being" suggests that this has been happening a long time. And it is a part of their culture as they have become adopted to their beliefes that 'they are superior' or 'others are inferior'. The easiest thing you can apply this to is the Confederates in the civil war or Adolf Hitler during World War 2.

This is a song about the news and the media. About how they lie to us, they cherry pick stories to tell us that make them the most money. "Fit your mind into my mold" suggests that they also do it to further the media's political agenda, while "I made a story that needs to sell" suggests they do it to make money. There is multiple other quotes that are similar to both of those in this song, so I can only assume the singer is saying that 'All they want is to further their political agenda and to make money'. This could easily be compared to when Trump calls the news 'fake news!'.

This song is about leprosy, which is a disease that was talked about many times in the Christian Bible. It is most likely referencing the verse Leviticus 13: 3-6 "3 The priest shall look at the mark on the skin of the body, and if the hair in the infection has turned white and the infection appears to be deeper than the skin of his body, it is an infection of leprosy; when the priest has looked at him, he shall pronounce him unclean. 4 But if the bright spot is white on the skin of his body, and it does not appear to be deeper than the skin, and the hair on it has not turned white, then the priest shall isolate him who has the infection for seven days. 5 The priest shall look at him on the seventh day, and if in his eyes the infection has not changed and the infection has not spread on the skin, then the priest shall isolate him for seven more days. 6 The priest shall look at him again on the seventh day, and if the infection has faded and the mark has not spread on the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean; it is only a scab. And he shall wash his clothes and be clean." At the end of the song he says "We are all like lepers. Without Christ's love in us. Let him heal you let him. Heal you let him will you". When he says 'we have leprosy' he means we all have sin, and we should ask God into our heart to 'cleanse' us of our sins.

According to Steve Harris, this song was inspired by a nightmare after watching the movie "Omen 2" about the antichrist. Another interesting fact is that this song sparked a lot of contraversy because of the name and the artwork (People saying Iron Maiden was 'satanic'). The song also opens with the bible verse "Revelations 13:18" which is the bible verse that talks about the number of the beast (666).

This song is about someone being afraid of walking down (what seems to be) a dark alley. "Have you run your fingers down the wall". "Watching horror films the night before" suggests he might also just be afraid of supernatural things as hinted at with "Debating witches and folklore". "And when I'm walking a dark road, at night strolling down the park" also suggests that this happens regularly. It constantly bites at him (the fear). He also has no one to walk with ('I am a man who walks alone'). This song could also be talking about how we are afraid of things because society programs it, or it is our natural instict. And we should move past those illogical fears, but everyone has them.

Judging from the lyrics, it seems as if put under test to die for science. "Suffering feeding my pain" suggests that he is in great pain, and they are testing painful things as well. "My breath carries my legacy" basically suggests that when he dies, his work will go to helping mankind. "Nothing can stop the progress" suggests that he wants it to stop, but they won't let him. As for "Just only death [?] the plague" I couldn't really tell what he is saying in the [?], some places said it was "Just only death to begin the plague" but I couldn't tell what it was really saying so it is marked as a [?]. Either way the fact that it says 'plague' suggests that it is to end a deadly outbreak, and they are using him as a test dummy to find a cure.

This song is a catholic/christian song in itself. It suggests it is catholic instead of christian by the lyrics "Would you like to see the Pope on the end of a rope". This song is basically a message to unbelievers saying "Do you believe in god? What about when you die, where will you go?". Christian band Stryper also covered this song in 2015 on their album "fallen". This song also debunks the myth that Black Sabbath is a satanic band, as some religious people claim.

Guitarist Andreas Kisser said this. "The lyrics talk about ourselves as human beings, with concepts and pre-concepts implanted in our heads through education, religion, the environment and all of our own experiences. We are the problem and the solution. Do not blame anything or anyone else but yourself; you are your own enemy. Face yourself, rethink your life and then you'll have a chance to make a better world for yourself." Quite a good message if you ask me. Don't blame your problems on anyone else, work on improving yourself

In this song Lucifer (Satan) fell in love with someone (presumably a human). "Some people say my love cannot be true, Please believe me my love and I'll show you" basically means what it says, people thought he could never love because he was the devil. "My name is Lucifer please take my hand" is where it is revealed for certain that it is Lucifer. The song is basically about Lucifer trying to seduce a human.

This song is basically about the nuclear apocalypse. "Terrifying rain, ease the burning pain" basically describes the nuclear radiation and how painful it is. The first 'section' or 'verse' is basically about people watching nuclear bombs falling. "Storm coming, you better hide" is basically people running to hide from the nuclear (of course its not going to work). Towards the end of the song it describes the earth destroyed ("Earth lies in death bed") and everyone dead. Along with all of that there is people going to hell as well, MANY people. "Evil souls fall to Hell, ever trapped in burning cells!". If you notice it says 'evil souls' fall to hell, these 'evil' people could be the people who started the nuclear war.
