Your love for this girl is clearly unrequited. You would throw it all down to be with her but she is just not interested. No matter how hard you try, no matter what you do she takes it as you being overly obsessed and as though she has seen everything you are about. This song means to me how no matter what you do sometimes you already know what they will say when you decide to call them on the phone or go and see them; and there is nothing you can do because you have already hopelessly fallen for them.
