This is one of those Coldplay songs that is obtuse and personal at the same time. Martin is a genius at writing lyrics like that.
Its obviously about aiming for your dreams and keeping on the road. For me it has even more personal resonance.
Having lived in Japan for nearly 3 years, in a place I loved and now back in England where everything is a deeper shade of grey, I cannot wait to get back. And I have no doubt, the sun will come out.
