I think they're talking about how we are sooo blind to the government's actions and how we overlook the things that they do because they occupy with things that don't really matter. They feed us lies and control us. I think its a way to say, "HEY! Stop eating up everything that people tell you and look the hell around for yourself!" Dropping the whole mind control thing ya know. Jeeez I love muse! Lol Their song Take a Bow is similar in meaning. The corrupt government. Like, we as The People have to stand up and take our power back. Ya know, if the government was truly made for 'The People' and by 'The People'. Why are we letting these "leaders" take away our freedoms and why are we letting them sway our free thinking? I like music that makes you think. And still sounds spectacular in the process. ^_^.
