It is about drugs, read harder into it.
The satisfaction drugs (Mdma, meth, cocaine, etc) give you seems like it is much better than anything you have experienced in your life before, though when that euphoria leaves you, you realize ultimately that it was fake, and the real "euphoria" is in the memories of how your life was before you fucked yourself up on drugs.
When you do a 3 day binge on cocaine, during that binge "I (You) receive all I (you) ever dream for, " but the harsh truth about abusing s*t like that is in reality "In return all is taken away".
