As a man growing up in the 60's and 70's it was cool to follow your emotions, be in touch with your feelings and reject the old fashion notions of: stiff upper lip. Keep on going, no losers only quiters. But as I've grown older I have learned to value emotional strenght and see that it is a way to protect self and others and a way of expressing love. Being there for yourself and the people you love. Is love. People you see as weeker than you can be stronger than you and you need that strengh. If a bird can sing with a broken wing we at least can stand tall.
