I love the lyrics.
As I see it its about to follow weather the good or the bad side, but in this world where good things seem nearly impossible to do the only solution is to be a pessimist.
But what does he mean by "erase the free will and watch me heal" is it that there is no free will possible in this world and that your better off without it.
