When I was a kid, I listened to the song and it always brought tears in my eyes even though I didn't understood english cause I am french. I think Elton John sings it with such emotion that it touched me even if I was a kid. This song make me think of my cousin Daniel since I can remember, now more than ever cause he died of aids 10 years ago and you know what? This song still bring tears in my eyes. Lovely song.
