The art of writing meaningful, deep song lyrics is completely dead.
All any band needs to be successful is to appeal to the frat boy demographic and write songs about getting drunk and looking at "hot" girls.
It is also proven to me that the people who like this dreadful, awful music (like all of the people beneath this comment) eat these horrible, asinine lyrics up and are even willing to call them "good".
If this is considered good, well-thought out lyrics, then to quote hubert farnsworth: "i don't want to live on this planet anymore. "
