Read carefully! They are saying that, "There's no place like home!" In other words they want to be "AT HOME" in the relationship that's being sung about. He's asking, "Can I stand by your side? We CAN make it all right." He's saying, "Cause I'M HOME". This is where he is and wants to be. They are just using the Wizard of Oz theme as a similarity to the relationship.
