The song is about a lot of things, it's inspired in the struggle of the fame and being famous, like the Lady D example of the consecuences of the Fame, because in a certain way, she die because of the fame, when she was in a high spotlight and then how her death brought more publicity, that's why she put knife sounds in the camera snaps in her video at the beggining and when the paparazzis said "beautiful, beautiful" when she was lying almost death and nobody was helping! . And also talks about the struggle of whether you can have fame (or great success) or love, because having both it's like impossible. ;)
