Every one thinks its A drug song. It is, and it is'nt. It's about sid barrett. The guy started, and was the leader of the floyd. Until he went mad from way to many L. S. D trips, and that's made him nuts. The album was'nt about him. Just one or two other songs. "WISHING YOU WERE HERE" was all about sid, and how much he was missed. The band wishs was sid there to be part of the sucses of the band that he started. That album was the begining and the end of pink floyd. They made one of the best albums in rock history. Only album to be on the charts for over 500 weeks.(Do the math)Was "DARK SIDE OF THE MOON"no onr else can say that. Not even the beatles or the stones.
