So far, I've analyzed a fraction of the song, but I haven't made an official account, but here it is:. “I hate the beach. But I stand in California with my toes in the sand” Given the fact that in the previous lyric, "I want the world in my hands", where he stated he wanted to overpower everybody and how he desired to be the main influencer of all actions, this could be quite ironic since he has to tolerate what has been provided for him and what is out of his control. It sort of juxtaposes what he just said, I guess, and instead of controlling everything, he has to keep his head low and adapt to what he strongly dislikes. So, you can say he does not have much power over his life as he would prefer and he's bounded to that lifestyle. “Heads in the clouds but my gravity's centered” He sees what he wants to, creating goals way too far from his reach in a self-created reality (or what he was told the world would be before he set out for his own life and career), unlike the real world. "but my gravity's centred" shows how unfair he feels his expectations and ambitions are, and grieving on the lies he was told as he was told when he was younger, feeling pity for himself. It symbolizes how unbalanced both his aspirations and potential really are. This could also link to the connection between "I want the world in my hands" and "I hate the beach but I stand in California with my toes in the sand." because he dreams to become large, powerful and overall someone memorable, yet this world offers so little and limits him to the life he has right now - suffering in a sort of way.
