This is something I am going through! The meaning of this song is that you don't want to keep your hopes on thinking your going to be with this person forever because everything is falling apart and you have things that your holding back so you stay quiet. It hurts you and you want to fix them but you can't cause all the grudge you got inside you is killing you and you want to be able to keep the person you love with you, but then you realize you don't want to deal with all that drama so you feel it's best to finally speak and let the person know how you feel and letting him go.
