Just a thought, maybe he predicted that he would not live past 30. Because he knew he was not going to stay. Writing this song just puts more pieces to a tragic story. But before I read so many comments, knowing that Jimmy wrote the song, listening to the song over and over. My first thought was, he knew he was leaving. He meant to go. As painful as it is to hear, I think it is a good point.
