I love this song, I can't help but think of my mother who passed away, very suddenly on April 22, 2007. We never got to say goodbye to her because her passing was so sudden and unexpected. I remember being so angry at God and unable to find closure, and just feeling so lost and alone. This song gives me faith, because I know she is in heaven, walking with Jesus. It also reminds me of a young woman I knew, that went by the name Sissy, who also passed away very suddenly last year. She was only 32. She left behind a husband and 2 young children who I know miss her very much. Thank you Alan, for such a beautiful song, that anyone who has lost a loved one can relate to.
