I interpret this song as a couple in love, much like everyone I know in relationships, where the love is deep but lop-sided a bit. One lover coming to the realization that she's decided to put her all in it and encourage her lover to do the same. She really wants him to take the same direction but is unwilling to force him to do so, that he has decide that on his own. The song describes the trust issues that are prevalent in relationships and all in all, this songs just cries that she's wanting him to realize how perfect, secure, and happy they could be if they equally put 100 percent into it.
