It seems to me like Jimmy is telling Brian take care of the people we love and know that I'm in a better place. I'm not saying he comitted suicide, but maybe he felt like it was his time to go. Sometimes people feel down and I think Jimmy's death was purely by coincidence. It was his life to write songs and perform. It only makes sense that his feelings and emotions would come out in his music. I don't think A7x would have released this song if they thought it was a 'suicide' note. Btw I also don't think So Far Away was written to accuse Jimmy of commiting suicide. It was written by Brian to say if you were still able to hear me I would tell you the people we love are alright. Of course Brian misses Jimmy. It only makes sense. They were in two bands together and they were friends in high school.
