    I love this song! It is so true. We do get caught up it all the stuff, decorating, presents, etc. I love how it says it's something holy and here's to jesus christ who saved our lives.     I like this song's melody and lyrics, the melody is very spiritual and peaceful making the listener getting into the music. The lyric can show how taylor swift wanted to show a message saying "christmas is very special, and we have to celebrate it as the best as we can". Christmas is a festival celebrating a part of winter, and it is also a holiday where people stay with their family members and have fun. Taylor swift might have also wanted to make everyone the happiest they can, because meeting family members are a significant thing you will appreciate any time.

    Every one always talks about gifts and all and forget the real meaning about christmas jesus hes birth. Gods love. But when I herd this song I fell in love with it how it talks about jesus and I had almost forgotten what christmas really is about but when I herd this song it was well I brought back to me what christmas really is about. I am well going to sing it at my church for christmas eve service P. S I love.

    This song. When I first heard it I instantly fell in love with it. I just want to post it on all of my friends walls on facebook that are all worried about not being in a relationship this christmas, or put the lyrics to this song on a few of my friends doors who need it this holidays season. This song really shows what christmas is really about. "god bless us, everyone! " - tiny tim, a christmas carol. Favorite line of the entire movie. ♥

    This song and lyrics didn't just happen. Obviously the holy spirit touched and flowed the words like a river through Taylor. I am so glad she was courageous enough to record it knowing how some would criticize and ridicule. Her blessings from God our Saviour will be many and do you know how many lives will be saved?     What all up people do is we get so caught up with decorating and gifts and stuff like that I had almost forgotten what christmas really about but when I herd this song it well it brought back the real meaning and christmas is really about the joy of god giving his son to soon die for us which is jesus birth and gods love for the world P. S I am going to try to sing this at my church's christmas eve service.

    To me it says how christmas is really about the birth of our savior and what he did for us and how we get so caught up with the gifts and the lights and the trees and all those gifts! When we don't even think about why we get gifts.
