Stone Temple Pilots – Kitchenware Candy Bars lyrics
Kitchenware & Candy Bars

Somebody told me, I know where to go
Somebody showed me, I was last to know

Sell me down the river
Sell me down the river
Sell me down the river
Sell me down the river

What I wanted, is what I wanted
What I wanted is what she wanted

Unfriendly feelings, down on wounded knee
Unfriendly reasons, some blind mother's need

Sell me down the river
Sell me down the river
Sell me down the river
Sell me down the river

What I wanted, is what I wanted
What I wanted is what she wanted

You read the words and it sells you life
They sell their words, but it's all a lie

My Second Album

The second album
12 gracious melodies
Worth list-ning
Hope you enjoy them
Like if it's sung to me

Listen to 12 great tunes
Playing on your stereo
Dining and dancing too
Entertain on the piano

The second album
12 gracious melodies
To listen
Include this number
Keeping you company

Well
Getting on the record soon
Grooving on an afternoon
That's on my album too

This album cover
Looks simular like john in mathus
For mathus lovers this album has his style
Beutiful numbers are heard on the car radio
After all records are cut in the recording studio

My second album
One dozen melodies
To listen
Include this number
Keeping in company

Abortion, Weiland said it was about him and his wife’s tough decision.. but you read their words it sells you life, they sell their words but it’s all a lie.. “sell me down the river?” Sounds like he laments his decision and the place somebody showed him was the abortion clinic that sold him lies. He sounds like it was a mistake encouraged by then “selling him down the river” and “some blind mothers need” was him showing they didn’t really agree on the decision.. that what “we” wanted was
ultimately what she desired, and not him.
