    Paul McCartney's name should not be anywhere near this song as he had nothing to do with it. The same goes for "Medicine Jar". These songs were written by Colin Allen (lyrics) and Jimmy McCulloch (music). Contrary to popular belief, neither song is a dark confessional alluding to "Jimmy's alcohol and drug habits". Colin penned the words and, according to him, they have nothing to do with Jimmy.
