I think it's about fighting for love. 'I'm a sore eye with blurry vision' even though he doesn't always see things clearly, he knows one thing for sure and that's his love for this person, 'i don't mind if you're overrated, or if you're staring at the edge of the world' no matter what they're going through or what has happened in the past 'and if we climb this high, I swear we'll never die' as long as they fight their love will never die, and will be infinite.
I only hope that I can find a love like this one day. The passion in shayley's voice, ugh, I just want to love him. This song and 'when you can't sleep at night' shayley's voice just screams out to me, the passion, the truth, the love, everything. You can tell he puts his everything into every word. His soul is speaking.

I think this song is about accepting each other. When he sings "I don't mind if you're overrated" he could be trying to convince him/her that he really doesn't care about their flaws, he still loves them. He even gives him/her (whoever he's singing to) a reason to not doubt themselves. When he sings "But keep in mind, I'm a sore eye with blurry vision" he is saying that "this is my flaw, I don't see things in everybody else's prospective. He and whomever he's singing to has different types of flaws, but he thinks it is no reasons to give up hope on their love. This song has really deep meaning if you actually get into it. It's just so dang beautiful. This song is beautifully written AND sang. :)
