I read all the interpretations of the meanings of the songs of imaginaerum and wonder do any of you realize that the alblum is a concept alblum? Do you realize its an entire movie soundtrack? Do you realize that all the songs played in order tell the story? The lyrics, the music all tell the story of the movie. The songs by themselves are great but to truly be appreciated, one must listen to the entire alblum from start to finish, in order. Only then will you truly understand the journey that the movie takes us on. The story of an old man suffering from dementia, trapped in his own "imagination", who's daughter is trying to bring back to real life. The alblum starts of the old man reflecting on his life and then slipping into the imagination of a 10 year old boy. Then the nightmares begin, child hood fantasy turned evil, a duel with death, a daughter's love for her father, the full onset dementia, followed by memories of traveling, exploring, "living" with his daughter before the disease crippled his mind. Followed by memories calling him back (to his real life). Then his daughter breaking through to him calling him back from his "amusement park" (the last ride of the day) to finally place his life, his essense into perspective as an imperfect man who longs to be a good man but has fallen short along with society, but in the end he remembers the most important things in life and is reunited with his daughter.

Some pack of thoughts I see here)=
- for weak men it is needed to "have" other people like your children, parents, spouse, friends etc. In a tight pack/circle around them because they don't like to feel alone and thus scared.
- a strong man sees all links between people as an ever-flowing ever-changing game of communication and deeply enjoys the process and absence of solidity and constancy in it.
- all this communication and links between people are in your mind and is twisted with your view of the world, experience etc.
Overall fascinating song & album.
