This song is Nicki looking at the person she is today and reminiscing on who she use to be. She is not the same person she was before the money fame and surgery and she want that old raw Nicki back. I like the song because it speaks to everybody, we all look back at our lives and reminisce about all the shit we did and how different we are today than we were yesterday. I'm sure everybody wishes they could relive high school cuz them was the good ole days lol. I gotta take my hat off to Nicki for this song because everybody quick to say money and fame ain't gone change me but it does hell your life experiences change you on the daily its a part of like

What this song means too me is. Basically she told herself that oneday she was gone come up from nothing to something. She grew up living with so much on her hands as a little girls, but after everything she went through it still didn't stop her from living her dreams. When she was 19 years old she worked at red lobster and bought her first car an it was a bmw. She was a successful girl in life in still is I love nicki minaj no matter what she went through because after all she pulled through it. So she saying the old her die, but she still trying too find herself. Because it unbelievable to her that shes changed a lot from the times she remember about the old nicki.

I think the meaning of this song is that she just lost her true self and as searchin for her they pass each other at every entersection but see s her true self or maybe she just can't find herself yet that's y she got plastic sugery but now she thinks she might have found the real nicki in her own nicki and she has almost found herself in her song as she may have poured her soul into each song she writes describiing her self and her life.

When I first heard dear old nicki I was instantly hooked on da song. See nicki is my inspiration because she hard core on the outside because of her child hood, but true nicki fans know that she is a great inspiration to any body bein or commin from da hood she might look fake but you can't be from new york and be fake. So to wrap this up I want to say to nicki and all the millions of fans out there that we know what its all about and we know that nick has become a world wide sensation and is the starter of our generation and I plan on bein cold business just like my bahd bithchez remi jazmine deearia nickayla aryonna ayonna and of course the quenn herself nicki minaj!
