    This song is encouraging people to speak their mind and let their voices be heard. I think the band is trying to get people to realize that we shouldn't be afaid to stand up for what is right. People back down when they think that they might be wrong. Maybe they are but everyone has a right to their opinion. I think mcr is trying to tell people that change is possible. But if you don't make your voices heard nothing can be done. In the song he Gerard says, " Sing it out for the ones that'll hate your guts" So basically the band is saying that no matter what you have to say, you have a right to be heard even if some people may disagree.

    To be honest about my opinions of this song, I didn't expect much out of it to begin with. I bought the album for "Na Na Na", but this song is what made me reccommend it to all my friends. Seriously, I have played this song to all my friends who hated mcr, now they all own this album and say this band kicks a*. I plan to perform this song someday, when that day comes, it will truly be my turn to sing it for the world!

    Music is music dude, it's not about the band, or who wrote it, its about the sounds that form together and what it means to you (weather it be personal or not). I'm sick of people hating on other people because of what they listen to, if your not a fan then alright your ears are obviously not like ours. I personally do not like most rap, it literally gives me a headache, or paramore, the girls voice is to high pitch for me, but if someone likes them that awesome, music sets diversity, just as religion, or race. Most people are too ignorant to relate to what I've written but get off it! Stop thinking the world revolves around you.

    To be fair, I wasn't keen on this song at first.
    I liked it, but I never wanted to listen to it; then I actually learned the lyrics and, as per, mcr have made something amazing.
    These days 'pop' music doesn't have a real meaning, they never really have any soul.
    This song kicks a*, and I know this isn't a meaning, but hey, we all like a lil My Chem love, right? X3.

    I absolutely love this song - But I have to correct one thing. It is webways.
    I've seen it say 'Railways' on other sites, plus people who commented say it's Railways. Trust me, mcr say it's Webways, Gerard even said it on mcr's website a while ago because of Glenn Beck, and if you don't believe me - Look in the lyric book for the Danger Days album, the correct lyrics are in there. It's Webways. (Sorry I just had to get that out: '))

    I went through a little emo phase, and oddly enough, I heard My Chem's I Don't Love You. I had just gone through a rough break up, hence the emo phase, and this song was like magic mixed with anti-depression pills. Well, anyway, Mt chem basically saved my life. This song inspires me and touches me in ways that are magical. My Chemical Romance may seem depressing, but they really just need to be understood.

    N my opinion, sing is a song that's really about standing up. Standing up to what's right to you. Even if it exhausts you, even if people hate on you for it, be defiant in your own way. Be defiant for others, for this generation's future. If you ever feel like you're being pressured into doing or saying something that makes you uncomfortable, you don't always have to proceed to do or say it just to please others. Everyone has to do their part to make our future better, so never be shy to do just that in an obvious way, even if some people don't know you're doing it, because people will try to stop you. Many will know, if not all. Our lives won't be happy or productive unless we make them that way. This song is really inspiring and motivating, as is the band that performs it.

    Jcoolz you need to take a chill pill my chemical romance are the best thing that's happened to this world. I'm only a teenager but I still love every single song they have made. I even have what the album of what bands influenced them so suck on that! You may think the world is empty but to be honest your only emty and full of hate. May my chemical romance shine on you mercylessly you should be ashamed of the garbage you write down!

    Little backstory: This is actually the first song I can remember listening to, on Tap Tap Revenge 4 (the game, kind of like Guitar Hero). I was very young at the time, so “Sing” and “My” were the only words I could read. Anyways, I soon forgot about it and the entire device I played it on. About a year ago, I was shuffling through MCR songs and ran into Sing, knowing what it was and where it came from the beginning drum intro. I latched onto the song like no tomorrow; it really speaks to me in the sense that just because everyone else believes in something, you don’t have to as well. You don’t have to like an artist, or believe in an ideology because it is simply “modern”, or in other cases “old-fashioned”. You find your own set of morals and beliefs. You should stand up for exactly what you believe in. This is especially important in the current time we are going through, all over the world. Some people will undoubtedly “hate your guts” at some point in your life, no matter what you do. Stand your ground. This is my personal take on it. I have a religious belief and will stick to it, because that is what I believe in. I will sing it out with joy. Thanks for the awesome song, MCR.

    I love this song. It is to express the meaning of making sure your voice is heard and you don't just join in with the crowd but you stand out from everyone else. So do! Everything will work out if you stand out from the crowd and be who you want to be and not what some body else wants you to be. They can't tell you to be someone who your not! Don't let them be like that to you because that is just plain rude and you will suffer for it when you get older and start going out and mixing with stranger! What ever you think is your opion and not anyone else's. Do what you want and don't let other people boss you about. Stand up for yourself and people will respect you for who you are. I will shut up now because everyone is going to be bored out of their minds by the time they have finished reading this and I will shut up eventually but not just yet. I am just repeating myself? Aren't i? O m g I have finished all of the awesome category without even noticing! Ha. That is really strange so keep reading other peoples comments because they might have something like this to say but I bet not as long as this! Ha! Bye!

    It means to stand up! If anyone tries to run your life. Don't let them because it is your life, and not their life to make them ur little "boy" (if you know what I mean.) also its trying to say what's in your heart. Even though you might get into trouble but. Who cares. No one has the right from telling people that they can't say anything. And that if anyone tells your "ugly or anything" and you don't "sing from your heart" they will just keep goin at you, your gunna have to sing from your heart, cause if you do, chances are. They will leave you alone. In conclusion listen to what your heart says, then think before you speak, and then you "sing", and don't forget to use your voice! Ok =d I hope that this will help you :)

    Music is magical. It takes you to a place to where you can escape. To a place where you're more than just yourself, you're the world. The words you sing & feel are what the entire world feels. Sometimes as an artist I feel that I can't reach my goals. But when I think about all that happens in life & how music can save & teach others how to love I feel stronger. So sing. Regardless of the pain you feel. Let's all unite & be broken together in order to heal together even stronger than before.

    Its about not caring what other people think, about standing up for yourself and believing in your self. Likr gerard way said, "sometimes you need to kind of die inside and rise from your own ashes to love yourself and to become a new person and believe in yourself. "
    I also find it means love everyone and believe in everyone or you'll be no better then the bullies and the preps.

    It means you should sing out and talk for the people who can't, or are to scared to speak their mind. It means that you should never let anyone tell you who you should be, and what to do with your life. It means to sing out and not do what people tell you. If they tell you to shut up then don't. Yell out and make yourself heard, and don't let anyone shut you up.

    This is relevant to our generation. It has become more and more pressingly obvious that our enemy in this day and age isn't a single oppressing regime bu rather on our home grounds. It is our government, it is our corporations, it is all those in higher power who have grown too used to a meek public. A public smart enough to make decisions but too dumb enough to realize what's happening to them. Arab spring, occupy wallstreet, putin's election. It's time for social change. It is a call to never let someone shut you up. To everyone out there, just sing.

    This song is about how music can make those around you listen, make them see that music isn't just hip-hop songs about s** and money but about how music can help you, inspire you music can be your inspiration, the thing that keeps you going. Sing is about letting your emotions become known through music. This song is interpreted differently by each individual but not on version is incorrect. This song really shows how music is so very inspirational.

    This song is telling us to know our rights and fight for them, and don't let others and tomorrow to take our right away from us. Because it may cause us to be someone else and loose our life. I think when it say: Sing it out, it means shout it with all your heart. Shout for all the world, for diffrent people with diffrent conditions. Shout it for boys and girs. Its you right to ask for you right even if others are disagree.

    To anyone who believed that these lyrics were correct and to whoever submitted them: Seriously, guys, who are you? Glenn Beck? It is webways not railways! Listen to the words. If you don't believe me, read Gerard's latest blog on the website. I had never looked up the lyrics before, so I was all. ? Railways? How the hell so you get railways from that? I googled it and realized that every single website has railways, rather than webways. I was pretty pissed off, so naturally, I must go to every site that I can find and attempt to submit some correct lyrics. Thankyou for reading my rant.
