For me this song is about praising God no matter what circumstances may come your way! Romans 8: 28 states that the ultimate end of any circumstance we may find ourselves in is aimed at our ultimate good! God promises that the rainy times & the sunny times all serve 1 ultimate end, which is stated in the very next verse! Roman 8: 29 tells us that it is God's will that we be conformed to the Image of His Son & any circumstance that gets us closer to conformation to the Image of the Savior is indeed of the greatest good & ample cause for praise, even if the path to conformation leads through some rainy times God gives us something to aim for in Romans 8: 28-29! Rain isn't bad, it makes us more like Jesus, so let's praise in the midst of the rainy times!

Without going into details of my life. All my life I have had heartache, trouble, & tribulation. But, I also have always believed in my heart in my lord jesus, and my heavenly father, but a couple years ago, after another life altering event. I started to blame jesus & god, but after a few months, one day I heard this song. And I came to realize that, maybe the reason I had always had to endure suffering. Was, because it was my lords way of always making sure that he & my heavenly father was always in the forefront of my mind. This song instantly restored my faith and has helped me to become closer to my lord jesus & the heavenly father, and I pray to always acknowledge and see the path of which I am to take. Thank you,

This song should be the theme song for Samaritan's Purse Disaster Relief. ❤ A few years ago while deployed on a DR deployment, for the 1st time I heard this song. We, the Disaster Relief teams, in the wake of natural disasters, go out in the filed to minister to homeowners who have been devastated by tornados, hurricanes, flooding, etc. This song is so perfect! It's in the storms of our lives where God is most glorified and He makes us more like Christ as He draws us to Him during the whole process.

In the midst of any storm, the rain may come down hard, the sky may be dark and the wind may blow; increasing tension and despair. But on the otherside of the storm the rain slows and becomes peaceful and the skies begin to clear and you can see the sun begin to shine. With christ, all storms will pass, but as the song says: "bring me anything that brings you glory. "

Thank you Lord for paying the price for my sin on the cross and I will now praise you no matter what it may look like around me b/c you tell me that it is ok. So what if there is some rain that may come my way it is just going to make me want to praise Him more so He will shelter me a little faster than He normally would if I wasn't praising Him at all. I want to be able to learn how to swim so when the rain does come I can get out of the water faster! Praise tha lord!
