In an interview with denver westworld, andy hull of manchester orchestra explained: "the way that song is written is, in the first half i'm basically just describing touring and kind of my relationship with god and my wife. And the end is about this dream i had about us being in the van and getting sideswiped and hit by a huge truck. I dreamed my wife was pregnant at the time and i lost her. But this life was inside her, and in some weird way i was able to celebrate that there was some new life coming with one ending. "

To me, this song is more than just a song. It's like a miniature narrative. He's in love with her, and they have s** but she regrets it. He does drugs and introduces them to her. She distances herself from him, yet he's still in love. She commits suicide and he realizes that he really loved her, but as he sees his daughter in her stomach, he knows that he has to turn his life around, if not for him than for her. I absolutely love this song.

I could feel a hot one taking me down. I interpret this as a hot shot AKA an overdose, taking him down .
He eventually cleans up. He’s a clean, stable, alone.

Hasn’t heard a word you’ve said because he’s anesthetized.
Saying everything is fine but clearly it really isn’t.
An ambulance came to save Someone at some point.
A pregnancy gives some kinda hope to clean up.
It may not be about drug use but it perfectly captures the vibe of out of control use and the situations one can find themselves in as a result . It conjures up the dreamy detached state you can be in, even while there is a lot of nightmarish stuff happening around you.

Every line is a metaphor. I think the meaning of this song fits great between a father and son bond that has been broken for years maybe even decades. The son finally realizes how perfect his father really was right after he passes away from any form of tragic event. Such as a "car accident" used as an example for a tragic event. But the cause doesn't matter, it's all about the strong emotional impact(the teeth ripping effect) it had on the son who avoided his father for so many years. The love and wisdom the son learned from his father but never really showed any appreciation throughout his fathers life is the "Manna" drug. He realizes you can never have enough "Manna" in your life and enough is never enough.
I think that is why they call it "Manna" as in "Man". Not every person deserves to be called a man but the father being described in the song is the father of all fathers. He was more than just a man. He was a dying breed type of man, the kind this crazy world cannot afford to lose. It's why the world is so f'ed up! Nowadays Too many punks grow up to be punks, not fathers.
After his father passed, the part about the lord showing him a dream of his daughter crying in his girlfriends/wifes stomach, feeling love again doesn't necessarily mean anyone is pregnant, it just means he now realizes how to pass on his fathers wisdom to his unborn child he will eventually have in the near/far future, that is if he ever has a daughter. I personally picked this song has the most powerful meaning out of all songs in the world to me, and I listen to a lot of music.

Ok. His girlfriend got pregnant, She went to tell him and he started crying with his face down his girlfriend couldn't look at him. His girl friend is addicted to some form of manna which is a herbal drug. She could never get enough. Well they went home and she was driving and dropping him off he was checking to see if she was alright. When she really wasn't. She went home and overdosed on manna. All while this he was becoming depressed and being selfish he didn't want her to have this baby. But then she overdosed and killed her self. After a while he decided he wanted to be with her and loved her. But then he finds out she overdosed and he thinks he can see angels but its really ambulance lights taking his baby and his girlfriend way.
