    The foreign language is French(the language of love. Of course). Je veux ton amour = I want your love. Et je veux ta revanche = And I want your revenge. It's just a translation of the prior chorus lines. As for the meaning of this song, it's mainly about True Love. Throw in some adventure, romance, and hot s**. Kinda like Bonnie and Clyde. "I want your ugly. I want your disease. I want your everything." is her way of saying, I love everything about you. Which is True Love.

    You know what, I'm italian and even if now I can speak and understand when people talk in english, sometimes when I listen to a song especially when the singer sings very fast I'm not able to understand the real meaning of the song. Infact when I've read Bad romance's lyrics I was a little bit surprised. Anyway I think that the song is very hard and impressive as the other Lady Gaga's songs, but for me this is for now Lady Gaga's best song not only for the lyrics and the sounds but above all for the very eccentric video. I've never seen before a video like this. The music is very powerull. Infact when I hear it at the radio it makes me very pumped and strong, it's a feeling that only few songs can give you. So my conclusion is that Lady Gaga could become the top woman singer of our days.

    I like this song is kool to listen, but I'm not really biggest fan of this song soo much but I still like it I just hate when she said rah-rah-ah-ah roma-mama-ma gaga-ol-la-la is kind a stupid to say that especially kids at my school saying that words so freakin loud and I shoutes I hate that words.     It is obvious that the love that Gaga is seeking is wrong and sick. She's a s** slave and apparently, she likes it. She knows that the industry is ugly but she still wants in. There is an obvious sense of sadomasochism, as she seems to know that this love (of success in the music industry) will hurt her and treat her badly, but she's up for it.

    No it's not. I saw the words come out of her mouth on an interview on mtv. I wouldn't make a statement like that without actually having evidence as to what she said. Google "lady gaga mtv interview" and see for yourself. I'm right about what it's about. Unless she doesn't know what her own video is about in which case then I'd be wrong. You should try actually researching your information before just taking a guess as to what you translate the video is about.

    The song is a great fusion of lyrics and visual, each of which is incomplete without the other.
    The video shows the dark, cold form of attraction/love that exists within all our hearts, personified as gaga, who is shown as an unattainable dark deity of romance, who spins pleasure out of the hatred and revenge in us.
    It is best to stay away from it this austere form of love which is never true, just "bad".
    When a man still ventures too close, despite warnings, thinking he has won over this darkness, he is set aflame from lust and desire, leading to his downfall and death.

    I think the meaning isn't about true love, but like marry the night, about her carrier. She wants to be part of the music industry, not just to be friends with it. In the video you see big eyed gaga strugling against the two ladies, but eventually, she accepts her faith.
    She focuses on one particular guy, which she uses, to get what she wants.
    Saying that the meaning of this song is about love, is to easy for gaga. I love her songs, and one reason about them is because of the very deep meaning inside of them.
    She wants to be part of the music and she doesn't matter what it will do to her.

    Mortesmonamant, I think you're wrong. I think Gaga is saying that what she wants out of her "romance" is something whole, and something unadulterated, not something she knows is going to hurt her. Yeah, she knows love is always going to be imperfect, but she doesn't want it solely for the parts that hurt, she wants it all. This song, minus the s**, is really what love is completely about: the good and the bad, and the fact that you can't have one without the other in a true romance.

    Brilliant song I could listen to it all day. I think she is sooo pretty when she is wearing the polar bear skin, though I don't approve of it.
    I love the whole video but the best bit for me is the frozen glass all around, I don't no why that bit is just so cool.
    Does that bit of "I dont wanna be friiieeennds" remind anyone else of a song, possibly a keane one?

    I love this song it is so cool and agree with me or not but did we just see her eyes not caked in makeup for the first time! I love the lady (not love as in kissing) and luvvv this song and have you heard about her new album fame monster? She had a huge argument with her producer and he deleted half of her songs so she only has 8 new songs but she dident think this one would go well but look at the over 500, 000 hits on the internet in the last 2 monthss!

    I am listening to this song and it sounds so strong, emotional and evil at the same time. We have all been caught in a bad romance at least once in our life, as crazy as it sounds she is lucky to have had a lover in her life that she went absolutely insane for.     She most definitely does say "Rear Window". She's spoken about it in a number of interviews. She's listing Hitchcock films because she wants his deepest darkest weirdest sides of his personality.
